COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Rispoli Law is Actively Involved in Our Community

nursing home abuse lawyer

Rispoli Law is proud to have been a sponsor at Teach For America-Phoenix's marquee fundraiser, its 2016 Celebration Dinner.

At Rispoli Law, we see on a daily basis the havoc an unexpected tragedy has on family and friends. We consider ourselves incredibly blessed and thankful that these terrible events have not occurred with our own families. And there is no reason such bad things cannot happen to us--that is a clear takeaway from our line of work. But rather than live in a constant state of fear and anxiety, we do our best to appreciate what we have and take advantage of what we have been given.

As a result, the firm is very active in charitable and pro bono causes. The two we focus on at Rispoli Law are Teach For America (TFA) and assisting U.S. veterans. Teach For America is a national program that strives to provide low-income communities in urban and rural areas of America the same educational opportunities that are available at the best schools in the country. TFA's own site does will do a much better job explaining their mission and purpose, and we encourage you to visit it here. Of course, there are a lot of difficult school districts in the Phoenix metropolitan area, and TFA has a strong presence in Arizona also. Our involvement is with the Phoenix branch. Fred Rispoli is the current President of the TFA-Phoenix Associate Board, which aims to raise awareness of the unequal education system with the young professional community and provide opportunities to get them involved in changing our policies for the better. Rispoli Law is proud to have been a sponsor at Teach For America-Phoenix's marquee fundraiser, its 2016 Celebration Dinner.

Education is near and dear to our hearts, but so is service to others. And while we are honored to serve our clients, we believe this still pales in comparison to service of our nation's armed service members. In light of this sacrifice of so many men and women, we are appalled when our veteran's system fails our heroes, either through terrible care at the local VA or in failing to provide the benefits our government promised these men and women when they signed up to protect us. Fred Rispoli has undergone the training required to be an accredited attorney with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and is therefore eligible to assist veterans with their claims for VA benefits.

If you feel like you would like to become involved in Teach For America, need help navigating the complicated VA claims process, or would like to discuss a potential legal matter regarding personal injury, please contact us today.
